1 Chale cylinder vase

Cylinders are ideal for displaying flowers or dried grasses, as long as you dont have a herd of frisky cats. The Chale series although rich in colour fits in well with contemporary or classical decor, and tortoishell cats

2 Chale round vase

Chale is a beach on the island which is full of pebbles polished by the sea, and we called the series after this beach because as you turn the vase, its so like walking along the shoreline watching the tide tumbling the pebbles.

3 Chale carafe vase

What can I say, another good shape for displaying flowers,often objects are more than they seem, sometimes they carry memories of the giver or the place you first saw the vase, I'm with Marcel Proust on that one.

5 Chale Barrel Vase

This perhaps is the ideal piece in this series because you are able to view the expanse of the shoreline, rotating the vase it is not difficult to see the pictorial layout of the beach. The rocks and tidepools, the foaming brine and clusters of pebbles.

6 Chale flower vase

The form of this vase is the traditional flower vase, some people think that the vase should not be used to display flowers and it should be seen in its own right. But what would complement a vase better than a lovely display of flowers. My favourite for this would be corn and poppies.
