Rainbow on Sandown
The dramatic view from our bedroom after a storm you can just see the second rainbow and the distant downland.
Hairy trees
The trees on Melville Street get a regular short back and sides once every two years, and once every two years the letters of complaint arrive in the various island periodicals and paper. But by the first Spring they are already up to crew cut status and by the end of the summer virtual hippies again.
Dog at sea
Wonderful sky rushes out to the horizon it is as though someone pulled the plug over the horizon and oscar bites away at the weed trapped in the groyne it all happens on Sandown Beach.
Paper poppies in the studio
Its hard to resist the colour of these poppies early in the morning when the sun streams in through the studio doors suddenly everything is transformed by light.
Caged Sky
New railings at Yaverland make a vertical blind effect on the advancing clouds.
Weedy ropes in the groyne
I have always been fascinated by the bits of ropes and old floats, weed and pebbles trapped by the beach furniture. I know its not very ecological but even the bright colours of plastic bottles and broken children\'s spades and bits of bucket produce fascinating readymades for the camera.
