Red poppies
how red can you get this brilliant colour against the dark green of the hedgerow and the blue sky
St. Georges Down
Silouettes against the setting sun again this was taken on St. Boniface with a spectacular view over the downs all the way to freshwater bay, in the distance with the tongue of silver water at Comptons bay
the ancient glassmaker
Here is one of the very few pictures of the ancient glassmaker, in my possession anyway, although I hate to think how many there may be skulling around in our visitors snapshots. You dont realise how ancient you are until you are photographed holding a baby, and the difference is a real reality shock, never mind, when I ride my bike home I feel relatively young again.
Culver Cliff
Each morning if possible before work we take a walk with Oscar(see next picture) often along the lovely stretch of beach which leads up to the Cliff at Yaverland.
Oscar
Nicky first met Oscar exercising his owner along this beach, she happened to say in passing how beautiful he was and if the owner should ever want to part with him we would \"love\" to have him. He arrived with his owner next day and came to live with us shortly afterwards. He is without doubt the most loving and affectionate animal, he is also one of the biggest. Now he drags us around the beach every morning.
The young Turk
This is the before picture in the before and after glassmaker series Edward is the prettier of the two glassmakers you are likely to see at the studio.
